THE HISTORY OF S.M.H.S.S CHERAI

               Our school has a history of about 90 years.It is believed  to be found around 1921.At first it was named as BVR(Bala Vidya Ranjini) & later changed as V.V Sabha UP school.This school is working under the Management of V.V Sabha Educational Agency.Later it was upgraded as a High School in 1952.In 1962, the LP section was seperated from the High school.The High school was  again upgraded as Higher Secondary School in 1998.
                             Sahodaran Memorial Higher Secondary School is now one of the most eminent & efficient schools  in Vypin area. Our students excelled in Academic as well as Co-curricular activities including sports,arts,Science Fairs etc.The  school got the ''Best School award'' in rural area for four times.The collaborative effort of the school Management,Teachers & Parents make  the school best one in our locality.
